阿普爾頓特種玻璃（太倉(cāng )）有限公司前身為英國(guó)皮爾金頓集團(tuán)在華的獨(dú)資企業(yè)皮爾金頓太陽能（太倉(cāng )）有限公司，是一家集玻璃研發(fā)、製造、加工、銷(xiāo)售和特種玻璃進(jìn)出口貿(mào)易為一體的綜合性企業(yè)。公司位於緊靠上海的江蘇省太倉(cāng )市陸渡鎮，距虹橋交通樞紐40公裡，於2006年成立，2008年投產(chǎn)，是國(guó)內(nèi)最早的太陽能低鐵壓花玻璃生產(chǎn)商之一。公司投資總額為4.5億元，佔地面積近200畝，年生產(chǎn)能力為1萬(wàn)噸U型玻璃。過(guò)去10年，生產(chǎn)線(xiàn )先後引進(jìn)了英國(guó)、日本、義大利的先進(jìn)玻璃製造技術(shù)，以確保生產(chǎn)高技術(shù)、高質(zhì)量的玻璃產(chǎn)品。
公司於2016年7月1日更名為阿普爾頓（Appleton™），英文名稱(chēng)是Appleton Specialty Glass (Taicang) Limited，簡(jiǎn)稱(chēng)ASG，由外國(guó)法人獨(dú)資有限責(zé)任公司轉(zhuǎn)型為自然人獨(dú)資有限責(zé)任公司，並進(jìn)行生產(chǎn)線(xiàn )升級(jí)改造。阿普爾頓秉承了皮爾金頓的一貫質(zhì)量、技術(shù)、管理優(yōu)勢(shì)，進(jìn)一步發(fā)展多元化、差異化的優(yōu)良產(chǎn)品。
阿普爾頓主要產(chǎn)品是優(yōu)尼普™（Uniprof™）系列建築用超白U型玻璃，年產(chǎn)能1萬(wàn)噸。該產(chǎn)品引進(jìn)了皮爾金頓德國(guó)工廠(chǎng)（Pilkington Bauglasindustrie）的第三代成型工藝，學(xué)習(xí)並借鑑了皮爾金頓50年的U型玻璃生產(chǎn)經(jīng)驗(yàn)，無(wú)論是性能還是外觀(guān)都能達(dá)到歐洲產(chǎn)品標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。阿普爾頓是可以生產(chǎn)寬幅度U型玻璃（500mm）、夾絲U型玻璃、超長(zhǎng)鋼化U型玻璃（7000mm）、Low-e U型玻璃的廠(chǎng)家。
在玻璃進(jìn)出口貿(mào)易方面，阿普爾頓與海外玻璃製造商有緊密合作，並憑藉自身的技術(shù)和人才優(yōu)勢(shì)，能夠為客戶(hù)提供量身定製的解決方案。
Appleton Specialty Glass (Taicang) Limited (ASG), previously known as Pilkington Solar (Taicang) Limited, was re-established on 1 July 2016 with a capacity of producing 10,000 tons of U profiled channel glass. Producing from a process originated from Germany, ASG's U profiled glass has a world-class performance and appearance. ASG is a entity in China capable of producing extra-wide U profiled glass (500mm in width), wired U profiled glass and extra-long U profiled glass (7000mm in length).
Inheriting the high-quality standard, technology advantages and management ideology from Pilkington, ASG is exploring the diversity in the U profiled glass industry. ASG provides various glass solutions to customers by its technology, glass-manufacturing talents and close cooperation with oversea glass manufacturers.
